Today, Alpha Bhutanese-Nepali Church of Canada - Hamilton had the joy of participating in an inspiring inter-church volleyball tournament—a day filled with friendly competition, encouragement, and fellowship. We are immensely grateful for this opportunity to come together with our brothers and sisters from different congregations, sharing not only in sport but in the spirit of unity and community that binds us as the body of Christ.
Congratulations to the Champions
We extend our warm congratulations to Living Faith Nepali Church London for winning the tournament! Your hard work and dedication truly shone through, and it was a blessing to witness such a display of talent and teamwork.
A Shining Moment for Our Team
Our team from Alpha Bhutanese-Nepali Church - Hamilton played with heart and perseverance, making it all the way to the finals. We’re especially proud of Suman Rai, who was honored with the MVP award—what a testament to his commitment and spirit! Suman’s achievement reminds us of 1 Peter 4:10: “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”
Thank You to Our Host Church
We also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Pratigya Ko Mandali - London, Ontario for graciously hosting this event. Your hospitality and hard work created a space for churches to come together, celebrate, and uplift one another, making this tournament a joyful success.
Reflecting on Fellowship and Faith
This event was more than a tournament; it was a chance for our churches to live out the values of Philippians 2:3, which encourages us to “do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.” As we look back on the day, we are reminded of the importance of gathering as one body, encouraging each other in our faith journey, and rejoicing in the talents and gifts God has given us.
Thank you to everyone who supported our team and cheered us on. Let’s continue building this beautiful community of faith and fellowship, always seeking to support and uplift one another in love.
